Mont Tremblant- activities

I'll be in Mont Tremblant early March and am looking into activities. I'm not a skier, though might take lessons- still not sure yet. If I do decide to take ski lessons, how far in advance must one sign up? Is it best to do so in advance or can I wait until I get there and register say the day before?
What about the other activiities offered- I'm looking into dog sledding, snow shoeing and ice climbing. Any experience with how far in advance those sorts of activities book up?
Thank you.

You should check out Tremblant`s website for activites and such at www.tremblant.ca. You can certainly book your activities once on site; that way, you can plan according to the weather. Have fun! It`s a nice place!

Yes, I've been looking at their website, but am new to ski resorts so have no idea how far in advance either the activities or the ski lessons will book up . . .

It will be busy around the 2nd and 3rd week of March because of school breaks. Giving yourself a couple of days for booking should be fine.

i have been to tremblant a number of times and at the activities center they have the choies for non skiers. which i have done some...snowmobiling- great fun actually tough at times - depending on the amount of snow ...dog sledding...beautiful scenery and a really neat experience, tubing -nice break from falling down the mtn for me...and there is a spa down the road cant rembember the name of it but, it is beautiful they have cold baths, and hot baths and you are supposed to go from one to the other....they also do massage there...then, at the westin i belive there is a full service day spa as well but, i had a massage therapist come to the villa we were staying in.
i have taken the lessons before but also not being a skier i decided to do snowboarding. its too frustrating trying to keep up with a group of great skiers when you stink. so, i tried something new and it was great. i did the PRIVATE lessons for 2 days. well worth the $$. its much cheaper up in ca when compared to the US for private lessons. you will have a blast up there. we try to go every year. and the apres ski provides for great people watching. have fun.
