mirvish/toronto restaurants

I am planning on buying a theatre/restaurant package through the mirvish website. It appears that it is a good idea to make reservations at a participating restaurant when you buy the tickets. Anyone have recommendations on what a good pick would be? Will probably be seeing 'Hairspray' and staying at Sheraton Centre. Something close to both theatre and hotel would be ideal. Thanks

You've got to give us the list if you want a suggestion. We have not got all the promo-restaurants memorized.

RD's is closed.

Don't forget to tip when you use the coupon.

And give us a hint on the kind of food you like.

There are lots of choices between/near your hotel and the theatre.

There's over 40 participating restaurants listed on the mirvish webpage. Just thought some one might be familiar with the choices. I'll click through and find something, thanks.

Hi Juinmi,

I like Fred's Not Here and the Red Tomato. Any of the restaurants along that stretch of King St (in the 300's) are good and 5 minutes away from the theatres. Court House Grill is also good but would probably need a short cab ride. Indian Motorcycle is a pretty good place too. RD's was recommended earlier but I haven't bee there. Duncan Grill is ok. I would pass on all the others.

The are all good redstaurants. Several are in the wrong direction -- skip Rosehill Avenue and Church Street, and those on Yonge Street are the wrong way.
le biufteque in the hotel itself is very nice, good food, one of the fancier places on the list.

Tundra in the Hilton is on your way, and very elegant, in a simple sense.

But at the heart of it is what kind of food do you want? Pierro's or Il Fornello or Kit kat or Club Lucky for italian, unless you want Indian, or seafood, or...

All those with a King Street West address near Fred's Not Here are in the same block, almost across the street from the theatre. Duncan Street is one block befoe the theatre, John Street runs along one side of the theatre. Adelaide runs behind the theatre.
