Marks & Spencer in Montreal

Has the store been closed in Montreal? or has it been replaced by something similar, like was done in Paris?

Thanks.

Marks & Spencers withdrew totally from Canada a few years ago after about 20 years of not making money.

M&S pulled out of Canada a few years back. The store in Victoria was apparantly the only one that made money, and it was the food floor that supported the rest, but it is gonzo. I do miss the bikki selection.

Well, this is really bad news! When we were in London last year my daughter bought some Marks and Spencer panties (or maybe I should say knickers) and really liked them. We were hoping to buy more when we visit Canada this year. I guess we'll just have to plan a trip to London soon :) Wishful thinking unfortunately!!

Yes Pat, I know what you mean! Whenever I am in the U.K. I stock up on M&S underwear !

Annie

A few of the M&S brand food items are now being carried by the Superstore chain--mostly biscuits, but also soups and I don't know what else. Small consolation, but better than nothing I guess.

As for M&S undies ... how very Bridget Jones of you! ;-)

Hey - check out their website, they have beautiful underwear. Certainly NOT anything Bridget Jones might wear!!
