Marineland, NF = WASTE OF TIME
If you are planning to go to Marineland, please, change your plans. You will do more walking than anything else so you might as well go on a hike. There are 5 rides, 2 shows and a few bear, elk, deer, etc. other than that - NOTHING!!!

NF means Newfoundland not Niagra falls

They have a Marineland in Newfoundland??? Surely, you must be joking.

Ei, is right Marineland, Niagara Falls, is total rip-off.

Thank you. I was actually thinking of dragging my family to marineland on our way from Port Hurin Mi to Boston Ma. (thought it might break up the boring drive). However, I think we'll try Darien Lake or something. Any suggestions?

Canada's Wonderland (Maple, ON) within easy driving distance of Toronto is full of rides, clean, fun and not too dauntingly expensive for a family- we were constant visitors when the kids were younger. However (and I will prepare to be pelted with Fodor tomatoes for saying this...) if you are in the vicinity of Toronto during the last 2 weeks of August and up 'til Labour Day, check out the CNE or EX. It is a cross between an old-fashioned Fall Fair (with prizes for cheeses, vegetables, flower displays, crafts, and a chance to see a calf being born) and a tacky, noisey, wonderful carnival, with rides, sideshows, concerts, talent contests and truly excellent, nutritionally useless junk-food.

I have been a fan for years and wouldn't miss it for worlds despite my (snobby) friends vast amusement at even admitting to this politically incorrect love affair.

I stand corrected ... I should have written Marineland, N.F. = WASTE OF TIME.

Now don't even get me started on the Jetboat Tour... ;o)

Actually, it was fun in that feel-like-I'm-drowning sort of way.
