Magog, Lac-Brome, Sutton or ??

Folks,

Two youngish senior couples looking for a base for 2-3 days in the Eastern Townships... Love a good B&B, especially the Breakfast part, and near good restaurants for dinners. Let's say under $250/night (Canadian). One comment I read said Magog is too busy in the summer. Is that so? Thoughts and ideas, please? Too many choices available so I look to the experts.

Merci!

I like all three towns, but my favourite is Sutton. I've stayed a number of times at the Vert le Mont B&B--great hospitality and the breakfasts there are very good indeed.

Sutton is also our favorite.

We always stay at Auberge Spa West Brome.

Love Magog, it does get busy in the summer, but not over the top. Magog's lakeside promenade is fun walking or biking, and very European feeling. Actually my favorite town in the area is Bromont. It's a squeaky clean, outdoorsy town with some good restaurants, hiking and biking - it's close to a 20 mile paved bike trail. Bromont is about 15 minutes to Granby which has dozens of fun restaurants and lots of shopping.
