Magog

My husband and I be in Magog for two nights in late July. Have never been to this part of Quebec before. Please give us some tips for pretty sights, good places to eat, etc. Thank you!!

Hi armchairtravel,

Not in Magog, but the Auberge Georgeville for dinner.

Thank you so much. I have been having trouble finding info on this area.

I can second the choice of Auberge Georgeville - beautiful spot.

The nearby Saint-Benoit-du-Lac Abbey is a must-see in my opinion.

Also take a drive to North Hatley - lovely village with art studios, ideal place to go for a stroll or have a beer at the Pilsen Pub, which has a great patio right on the lake.

Thanks for these great tips. I looked at the site for Auberge Georgeville and the menu looks wonderful. What is the dress code like there?

According to AAA book, dress is "Dressy Casual".

Does anyone have any additional recommendations for a two night stay in this area?
