madison manor toronto?

Anyone ever stay at the Madison Manor? It's relatively new (opened in 2000), so we can't find out very much about it. Any guidance would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks! It's at 20 Madison Avenue one block east of Spadina just north of Bloor Street, near the Spadina subway station.
It sounds to me like the Madison Pub, a chicken wings and beer student hang out for the University of Toronto and, a century ago, home to some of my relatives.

It's possible the pub has been converted to some sort of B&B. Regardless, it is a big old house.

Location is not bad. My daughter lived next door for two years while going to school down the street. Close to subway, shoe museum, inexpensive chicken restaurant, and more (honest) good tourist attractions.

BAK

Have you checked out the wesite?http://canada411.sympatico.ca/eng/business.html then look for Madison Manor in Toronto.

Looks pretty good, especially for the price! And definitely an excellent location. It's not in the middle of the downtown but I would definitely choose this location over downtown!!!
I just looked at the website address. It is part of the Madison. Wow, that takes me back. I started going to the pub years ago, when it first opened. I met my husband there one Sunday afternoon.

I don't know how big the rooms would be - some of them look small, but the location is great.
