looking for Bed and Breakfast in Old Quebec City

Hi!

I am taking my wife away for our first anniversary to Old Quebec City and I am looking for a bed and breakfast close to the heart of the City. We dont need fancy but certainly a private bathroom. The smaller, more intimate the better.

Would anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you!

I made my first visit to Quebec City last July. I did a WHOLE lot of research on where to stay and picked the Manoir L'Esplanade www.manoiresplanade.ca and would reccomend it in a heartbeat! Within walking distance to anything you want to see,not fancy, private bathrooms, retaurants nearby....what more can I say! I'd stay there again for sure. Hope this gives you somewhere to start.
Cheers.

There are many nice b&b's in the heart of the city, particularly around Rue St. Ursule. The one name I can remember is the Maison James Thompson - very nice - I don't remember if it has private baths.
