looking 12 passenger van rental vancouver

Hi

Any one suggest me where can I find 12 passenger van for rental in Vancouver, BC. We are 2 family about 10 persons (include kids), want to travel road trip from Vancouver, Banff, Jasper for at least ne week.

Any one suggest where to get 12 passenger van for rental in Vancouver?

is this Good idea to rent 12 passenger van or 2 different car with 7 passenger?

Thanks
Urmil

Almost certainly a 12-person van will be considered a commercial vehicle, so you'd need a commercial license to rent & drive such a vehicle. Which I'm guessing rules out that option. Never mind the hassle of finding parking for a big vehicle at hotels, pullovers etc.

I would suggest renting two or three vehicles, depending on how much space you will need for luggage. Going from Vancouver across BC to the Rockies is not a short trip and you don't want to be crammed into a vehicle for 12+ hrs of driving.

Not only would that . . . a 12 passenger vehicle would not have enough space for 10 people plus all their luggage.

I wouldn't rent two smaller vans either (unless everyone packs pretty light). Assuming you have 3+ qualified drivers I'd rent 3 medium sized cars. Easier to drive them in the Rockies.
