Long Weekend with Kids in Canada
 

Any recommendations on places to stay and/or things to do in Montreal, Toronto, or Quebec City for a family with 7 and 10 year olds? Thanks.

You haven't mentioned what time of year you would be coming. I would be happy to help you with Toronto but first I need to know what season. Also, please tell me are they girls or boys- that could make a difference to my answer (I <BR>have both).

Helene - check out the responses to my post on family vacation for tips for Toronto. Lots of helpful information there. <BR> <BR> But check out the Laurentian Mountains area near Montreal too. We considered the Mt. Tremblant area for a summer trip too and will probably go next summer. There seemed to be a lot of fun stuff - swimming in a mountain lake, horseback riding, canoing, golfing, hiking, rafting, spas, beautiful hotels of every type - luxury, suite or b&b. Its mostly a ski resort but like many its pumping up the activities in the summer to make it more year round.
