lodging w/ Ocean View
Honeymooning in Nova Scotia 1st week of July for 8 days. Have airline tickets, no place to stay! Considering spending time in Peggy's Cove area and Cape Breton. Would like to find a nice B&B on the ocean. Appreciate any suggestions.

Absolutely perfect for honeymooning are Rosewood Cottages in Hubbards Cove!!! Very very romantic! Take an oceanfront cottage ( for example Sea Lavender) (www.rosewoodonthecove.com).<BR>Very close is the Dauphinee Inn. So you won´t miss a nice restaurant.<BR>In Cape Breton I would recommend the Normaway Inn (www.normaway.com). It´s no oceanfront Inn, though.<BR>Have a great time.<BR>Karen

In Cape Breton try Castle Rock Inn in Ingonish Ferry. I have heard good things about it from friends. Although not a B&B, you should stay one night at Keltic Lodge in Ingonish.

Thanks for the replies - wound up booking with Lantern Hill & Hollow, one of their beachfront cottages. The thought of stepping from the porch on to the 1 1/2 mile private beach was pretty tempting!

Make sure that your cottage is not situated right off the cabot trail which is a very busy road even at night!
