Lodging in Baddeck

Does anyone have any suggestions as to bed & breakfast type places to stay in Baddeck, CBI (other than Inverary Inn and McIntyre's Cabins).

Thanks for any ideas you might have.

A couple of years ago we stayed at the Broadwater Inn:-

Comfortable accomodation, friendly owners & with nice views of the Bras d'Or Lakes. About two minutes from the Alexander G. Bell Museum. They do B&B rooms plus log cabin style accomodation. Would stay there again if we revisited CBI.

Thanks, Jan, but they only have a queen sized bed and I'll be traveling w/ my mother!

Ever hear of Auld Farm Inn B&B or Worndoor Step or Silver Dart Inn (chalets)?

We have just got back from NS & PEI, (see thread about PEI being worth the detour!), a couple we met while in NS had stayed in The Worndoorstep and said they had liked it. Not a first hand recommendation I know but they are also rated four stars with Canada Select so I would think you could not go far wrong.

I recently stayed at the Dunlop Inn with my wife and daughter. Very clean room, (stayed in the Lighthouse room), 1 double bed and a single bed. Also had window air conditioning although we didn't really need it. While it is a B&B, you register at the Telegraph Inn down the street. There is no one on the premises to talk to.
