Laundromats in Jasper/ Lake Louise/ Banff/ Fields?

Does anyone know if the following properties have a laundromat on site?

Jasper: Becker's Chalet
Lake Louise: Paradise Lodge
Lake O'hara lodge
Fields: Emerald Lake Lodge

Again, thank you in advance for your replies.

Becker’s Chalets – yes
Paradise Lodge & Bungalows – no
Lake O’Hara Lodge – no
Emerald Lake Lodge – no

There are laundromats in Banff townsite, the village of Lake Louise and Jasper townsite. I don’t know if there is a laundromat in the hamlet of Field.

Oh there you are, Judy. For some reason, I thought you'd gone away.

LOL, April. I'm here. But I've been writing some environment, health and safety procedures for a Calgary company. Also, I'm carrying out my New Year's resolution, and training for a 10 km race on Mother's Day. Well, in my case, I don't regard it as a "race." All I'm aiming for is to be able to complete the circuit.

In years past we used a washer in the Kicking Horse Lodge. I presume it is still there.

Best of luck, way to go, looking good, Judy! 10 km was my limit. It was somewhat humbling when a girl just recovering from cancer treatment left me in the dust.

Now to resume the laundry topic, to which I have nothing to add. I did use a touchless car wash in Canmore a few years back though.

The laundromat in Lake Louise Village is tucked away down the side of a building. I am trying to remember where it was. Seems like it was toward the same end as the Parks Canada visitor center.

There is a good bookstore near by.

Take several loonies, perhaps even twonies, or is it toonies?

As I recall, it was expensive to use relatively speaking. The demand is high, or at least it was when we were there.

The availability of the machine(s) in the Kicking Horse Lodge is hit or miss depending on the lodge guests and others wanting to use the facility. It is not very large.

I recall in the 1960's spending a wet afternoon at a laundromat in Jasper. Sheltering not washing clothes.

My family operates a fantastic laundromat in Jasper. We have new, fast front load washers and dryers, internet service, private shower rooms and the SnowDome Coffee Bar onsite. We were featured on Joseph Resendo's PBS Travelscope series as offering a unique service to visitors. Check out our web page at www.607patrica.com
