Lake Huron Circle Tour
 

My husband and I are taking a motorcycle trip around Lake Huron (USA side and Canada side). We prefer smaller, windier, "funner" roads. We try to avoid interestates and large cities if possible. Looking for highlights NOT to miss on Lake Huron. We have 5-7 days to do it. We are (and have to) start in Sandusky, MI. Love great places to eat, like going where locals go, and unique buildings. We need nice places to stay--we like B&B's and reputable hotels. What should we definitely see/avoid?

In Ontario, will you be taking the more westerly route, down the Bruce Peninsula after a ferry ride from Manitoulin, or the longer route, along the east side of Georgian Bay? This makes a lot of difference, re: highlights.

we are planning on taking the ferry. But poss may drive around due to timing. but lets go with the ferry ride now. NOt finding many places to stay around espanola. I guess looking for highlights along Hwy 21 S
