Kitsilano B&B?

Hi, We (2 adults & 2 teenagers) will be in Vancouver in early June. I'd like to be in the Kits beach area but the B&Bs I've seen online seem expensive for 4. Anyone have a recommendation for a budget B&B near the beach?

Sorry to say there are no 'budget' B&B's in this 'hood.
http://www.mickeysbandb.com looks to be the cheapest of what's on offer.
The only 'budget' option is out at Jericho Hostel-which does have private rooms.

Thanks. Looks like the B&Bs are out. Do you have any experience with Jericho hostel?

The setting at Jericho Beach is absolutely beautiful. Shops and buses are a few blocks walk. I don't know anything about the building.

It's not Jericho, but rather downtown Vancouver with those attractions / amenities, and a quick bus trip or a bit longer of a walk to Kits: a YWCA with family rooms; recently built; check out http://www.ywcahotel.com/ .

Cheers,
Linda

Don't give up on bed and breakfasts. Try looking at www.wcbbia.com which is the BC Bed and Breakfast Association. Many of them have rooms to accomodate 4 and if you consider that you get breakfast with the rate you'll find a some good deals. There are other nice areas of Vancouver apart from Kitsilano and you can always get to the beaches easily.
