Kensington Market & St. Lawrence Market

Hey guys i lived in Toronto for about 3 months and was able to see both markets. Just wanted to let you guys know that St. lawrence market is closed on sundays but you should def make the trip for great food. And on the lower level they have a place with incredible coffee. Kensington market is best on Sunday's I found and a great place to see the social seen of Toronto or just get a great coffee. Hope that helps I know I almost missed the st. lawrence market not knowing it was closed on sundays

cheers

St. Lawrence is closed on Mondays, too. You're right about Kensington - the people watching is the best there - sit outside at Wanda's with a big piece of pie and watch the world go by.

I love going to Kensington. We like El Trompo - sitting outside in the summer eating tacos, etc. or sitting inside in the winter eating pozole - delicious! There's also an Ethiopian place where we buy green coffee beans for roasting - prices are great.

Oops, see that you said on the lower level...I've had coffee at the one upstairs.
