July 4th on Victoria Island

We're planning a long weekend on Victoria Island over the 4th of July and need reccomendations for a good hotel in the 3 to 4 star range.
Thanks,
Annie

I'm assuming you mean Vancouver Island?

Where on Vancouver Island will you be staying? If in or around Victoria we are close enough to the U.S.A. that you can probably take in some of the fireworks from Washington state to make you really feal at home.

Hello Annie,

Here are some websites that may help narrow your search (assuming that you meant the city of Victoria on Vancouver Island):

http://www.tourismvictoria.com/Content/EN/496.asp

http://www.victoria-bc.com/Accommodations/Retreat/

http://www.bctravel.com/lodging.html

By the way, if you are in Canada on July 1st, you can take in some of the celebrations and fireworks for our national holiday - Canada Day

I'm not sure I'd try to bring explosives of any sort across an international border.

Victoria Island is in the far north, so we're assuming Vancouver Island is the destination. But Victoiria ISland has some wilderness tours, so maybe...???
