Judy's fame grows. . . . .

Overheard at the Peyto Lake viewpoint near the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park (just this past weekend) -

"Wow!! This is beautiful!! Judy was right on!! Must write about this on Fodors when we get back!!"

Good going Judy :-) ((F)) !!

Many thanks, Borealis. But at the same time I'm kind of embarrassed.:-o

On the other hand, it's good to know that folks researched their trips in advance, and hopefully that has helped them to have as enjoyable a vacation as possible.

I was wondering which of our Fodorite friends it was :-)! As you can imagine the viewpoint at Peyto Lake was crawling with sight-seers last weekend (mid-August is always so busy in the mountains, we travel so often in the off-season that I sometimes forget). At any rate, I was busy taking photos when I heard the comment, but when I turned around to see who it was, all I could see was a sea of faces!!

This post delighted me. Judy is such an amazing resource. I am always impressed at the courtesy and thoroughness with which she responds to questions...even the same ones asked over and over. She exemplifies the best this board has to offer.

How about posting separately "Hearing Judy's name at Peyto Lake Viewpoint"?

I bet whoever that was would see that post and respond.

I agree with cmcfong. Judy's patience and willingness to reply to even the most vague or confusing questions is very impressive. All her posts are full of so much detail, and it appears, that every one is "hand crafted". No copy and paste for Judy.

Patrick, I am willing to bet this is our winner!

Judy brought the same thoroughness to the Australia forum until pressure of work forced her to scale back her Fodors commitments. Judy, it's not the same without you!

I think I need Judy's help on my question with respect to Lake Louise restaurants..... ("Dining in Lake Louise")

Judy in Calgary also gave me great advice for our trip to Banff, Lake Louise and Vancouver. We are taking many of her suggestions. Judy . . . you really know your stuff!
Thanks
