Jasper/Banff park fees
 

We'll be arriving in Jasper by VIA train and taking a Moose Travel tour. Where/when should we pay the entrance fee?

I looked at Parks Canada website and could not find an answer to your question. BUT, I can tell you that the Jasper visitor center is directly accross the road from the train station.

I'm sure that the park fees are paid by the tour operator and are included in you tour package. You might want to check, however, to be sure.

If you are not driving a car, you do not have to pay the fees. Although the fees are supposedly for the visitor, they are basically for the car they drive instead. The only checking that is done is at the highway kiosks, as cars drive through.
