It's the season: icebergs are here!
Check them out

Thanks! I'm following this website too
http://icebergfinder.com/ Hope they'll still be there in 6 weeks! |
Icebergfinder is pretty cool; I've used it myself when going for a Sunday afternoon iceberg drive. But it sometimes has a day's time lag, so do ask locals. And you're probably just as well not being here now, as we had 10 cm of snow last night! :O
|
Wow, you are still getting snow?? Should I reconsider my Newfoundland camping plans for the end of this month? Hmmmmm... :)
|
Sigh, yes, flurries again yesterday. But it's not going to be around for long, daytime temps are +5, there's only a skim left on my lawn now.
Having said that, I have often seen frost (and sometimes snow) when camping on May 24th weekend. Spring comes late here--parks open for camping that weekend, but people need to come prepared for cold nights. |
This was our first nice week of the year in Maine, so I hope your spring hits soon also. What a winter it was.
I'm glad the parks will be open. We're set up for cold weather camping but will look for indoor lodging if it's going to be rainy on top of being cold. We'll be there the 27th-31st, traveling along the Western coast. I'm looking forward to seeing icebergs and rocks! |
