Stop over between Prince George and Vancouver
We will be driving from Prince George to Vancouver in July and want to break the journey and overnight somewhere. Any suggestions on places to stay and restaurants with good food?

Done the drive a thousand times. We usually stop in Cache Creek. I don`t want to denigrate Cache creek but it is motels, gas stations, and the restaurants you`d expect at a travellers stop. 100 mile has better services, but too close to PG. If driving is going ok and traffic not bad try for Hope, can go for walk in the park along the river. And you have a much easier and shorter drive into Vancouver

Thanks leuk2. That's what I suspected. We haven't done this drive for many years and back then there wasn't much along the route. 100 mile has good places but as you say, it's too close to PG. We may stop there driving home.
I think we may aim for Liloet as a stop over and then drive the Duffy Lake Rd.
