how to dress

We will be going to Vancouver on the 26th do we need jackets and cooler weather clothes or is it hot during the day this time of year? Never been there. Thanks for your help....

Generally it should be quite hot at this time of year. But, I would bring one set of warmer clothing for evening or in case there is some inclement weather. Bring a raincoat, even in July Vancouver can be rainy, that isn't the norm but it happens.

Thank You for responding so quickly. We will take your advice and bring some warm clothes just in case. I can't wait to get there!

No problem! Just checked the 10 day forecast, if it's any indication of how it will be towards the end of the month you should have very pleasant weather. Ranging from 20-25 Celcius (70-78 Farenheit) with 10-30% chance of showers. It is chillier of course in the evening.

Have a great time!

The temperatures this week are to be about 15C overnight and in daytime around 25 - 30C. That's pretty typical. Right now (3:00 pm ish)it's about 25 downtown. It will always be a couple of degrees cooler near the water. Bring a light jacket and some clothing for cooler weather but in all likelihood it will be short-sleeves-and-shorts weather.
