Hi, I be will visiting Niagara falls in september on a tour from New York, I want to leave the tour in Alexandria Bay and fly out of Toronto. Can anybody advise on how do I get from Alexandria Bay to Toronto Airport?? is there an airport shuttle or train or bus or other means?

any advise would be appreciated

If you are talking about Alexandria Bay in NY state, it won't be that easy. You'd have to find a way to get to Gananoque, ON. From there you'd take the train .. check www.viarail.com for schedules.
Then in Toronto, you'd have to cross the road from the train station to catch the express bus to the airport..another 40 minutes ( or so) drive.

Ok thanks, do you think I could get a taxi from Alexandria Bay to Gananoque ON ?

Otherwise I might need to consider leaving the tour at Niagara Falls, I found that there was an air shuttle from Niagara Falls to Toronto Airport. I just thought if it was easy enough we could do the extra tour bit and visit Alexandria Bay 1000 islands.

We are flying to London and thought it would be easier to fly from direct from Toronto rather than double back to NYC on the tour and have to stay an extra night there before flying out to london.

Gaznic, you probably could get a taxi. Not sure though if they readily cross the border.

If you have to leave the tour early, it would definately be easier , to leave it in Niagara Falls.

Hmm, now I don't have an answer for how to get from Niagara Falls to the airport, but I do know that people do it all the time. Sorry I don't have the answer.
Try doing a search here or on Trip Advisor. I'm sure the question has been answered there.
