Hotwire hotel area nearest Toronto Blue Jays?
Does anyone know which area of Toronto is nearest to the stadium? This will be our first trip to Toronto & we'd like to walk to a game. I'm thinking of bidding on Hotwire or Priceline for the first time, 4 star or higher. Any advice appreciated.

The area is Toronto Downtown West, however its a large area and walking is not a guarantee... however, public transportation is very easy within this zone and I would go for it... For Memorial Weekend, we got Toronto Intercontinental Yorkville from Hotwire for $110... still in that zone, but miles from the Stadium... the cab ride was $12 but we saved over $100 on the Hotel...

Hi Katie,
You might find this helpful. Scroll down a bit and there's a map showing all the hotels near the stadium. http://rogerscentre.stadiumhotelnetwork.com/ |
Oh, sorry, I just re-read and understand your post is about Hotwire or Priceline. I thought you were just after hotels near the ballpark. Still, it might be helpful.

Hi & thank you for the link, goddestogo! My husband always likes to visit a ballpark when we're in a city that has a team & I'll be using your link to scout out hotels. We'll be heading to Baltimore by the end of the summer & plan to see an Orioles game there.
Haven't made my bid on Hotwire or Priceline yet... |
Got the Sheraton Centre bidding on Priceline.

Sheraton Centre is a convenient location - it's a few blocks from the Sky Dome (I guess it's not called that anymore), but not a long walk. There are some nice restaurants not too far as well - we like the Queen Mother (and were just there yesterday for brunch).

Thank you, SusanInToronto. The location looked good on a map, but it's nice to have confirmation from a local.
