Hotel Sylvia Vancouver

Do you recommend Hotel Sylvia in Vancouver?

I love the hotel. It depends on how many are in your party and what type of room you want. It is an old hotel but has had some upgrading.

The "Hotel Sylvia" is a step back in time not to be missed!! A car would be helpful, but I am sure not necessary to enjoy the true experience offered!!! If you stay her DO NOT MISS "The RainCityGrill", just around the corner, and NOT to be missed on you to visit resaurants in Vancouver.
Enjoy

I have not stayed there myself, though I have walked through it and liked the ambiance. It gets a lot of good reviews on this board. Also, it's in a great location.

I stay here whenever I'm in Victoria. It feels like the Vancouver of my childhood and is very well located for Stanley Park and access to North Vancouver. Pretty decent restaurant at least when I was there last. The rooms are small but that's because back when it was built they didn't build large rooms.

Baxter i think you mean when you are in Vancouver. The restaruant is still good, some of the rooms are large it depends which one you get. The larger the room the higher the price.
