Hotel Recommendation Quebec City

Interested in opinions on Hotel Manoir Victoria in Quebec City. Is the location good? Any comments would be appreciated.

Cindy - I stayed there about 4 years ago and loved it. Location in the old city was excellent, seemed to be within walking distance to almost everything. I had a very large room, don't know if that's standard or not. I'd consider it a good 3-star hotel.

I stayed ther about 2 weeks ago and agree that it is an excellent location. We found the beds in the first room that we were assigned to be extremely hard. With some effort I was able to get a room with better beds. If you don't like a really hard bed then get a commitment from them that you will get a room with a reasonable bed. Or, if you are driving, you could pack a sheet of foam rubber to put under the bottom sheet. Our room was also large, especially the second one.

The crepe Restaurant around the corner is great spot for an inexpensive meal.
