rdpesq,

About what OceanBreeze1 said about Arrowhon Pines? My wife (then-to-be), her then-7-year-old daughter and I spent a couple of days camping across the lake from Arrowhon Pines, roughing it with the intention of partaking of a delightful buffet dinner last night out. The waitress enticed my stepdaughter with chicken nuggets for which we paid the same as if she'd had her run of the buffet. Be mindful.

vivian_2009,

Sorry not to have gotten back sooner but you've already received good advice. If you're a gamer, certainly the jet boat would be a laugh. I haven't taken it myself but it looks to be fun. I'm just partial to the Maid of the Mist as it takes you up close to the Falls and it gives you a great feeling of the Falls' inherent power. The other thing is that if you only have one day to devote to the Falls area, I wouldn't suggest trying to cross the border as that'll eat into your time both ways. While the Cave of the Winds sounds a bit more fun (save for the fact that I wouldn't be able to see a thing through my glasses), I don't think the time suck'd make it that much better than Journey Behind the Falls.

Actually, I take back what I said about the time suck. Gary's suggestion in the other thread about walking across the Rainbow Bridge'd definitely save you much, much time.
