Help with location of "Cop Bars"

I am a police officer traveling to Toronto next month, where I am looking to find some of my fellow officers socially. Can anyone help with suggestions of bars that police frequent?

If BAK is watching, thanks for generously sharing your knowledge of the city. Your replies to other messages have supplied me with many good ideas. Thanks so much.

Does Canada or Toronto have a version of the FOP? When I was on the job and traveling, I found I could call the union office in any city I was going to and get that kind of information.

I used to spend a fair bit of time with cops, but since I reformed...

No, that's not it.

Anyway, I don't know, but I'll ask some officers of the law over the next few days.

There used to be a bar called Crooks, owned by a cop, near the St. Lawrence Market, but it may have disappeared.

I know where lots have lunch; the food court in Village by the Grange, facing (front and back) on McCaul Street and St. Patrick Street, just south of Dundas, because it's next door to a cop shop, and there's lots of cheap food in large portions, from all over the world.

I would think Tim Horton's would be worth a try
