Help with Hotels

I would appreciate suggestions for hotels in the following areas in July. Price: Moderate 120-150! Thanks!
Banff
Jasper
Tofino

As far as Tofino, I highly recommend Whalers on the Point. It's like a hotel but it's the local HI Hostel. Very luxurious. It's not as expensive as you want to pay but the quality is top notch.

For those reading, I wouldn't recommend the YM/WCA in Banff.. it's like a sterile hospital with a terrible kitchen.

I suggest Middlebeach Lodge in Tofino. It's wonderful and has lots of price options.

do they take children? Still need help on banff, jasper!!

Yes. Middlebeach takes kids up at the main lodge. It's where you'd want to be if you had kids anyway since there are more facilities up there including the restaurant.

We stayed at the Glass House B&B in Jasper (a true B&B) and instead of Banff we stayed in Canmore at Mountain High B&B. Check out the websites especially in Canmore. You won't be disappointed.

There are some good priceline deals for hotels in Toronto, but spend your money on a 4* rather than risking a 3* or below.

Regular reservations: Holiday Inn Midtown (formerly a Quality Hotel) is in a great location on Bloor West, beside the university district (called the Annex). Lively area, close to museums, adjacent to both subway lines - good cafes, bars and interesting shops.

There are some moderately priced hotels east of Yonge Street on Carlton (e.g. Days Inn) and on Jarvis (which runs N-S parallel to Yonge). I haven't seen the inside of these hotels, but I'm not fond of the area. It's safe, but a little rundown.

There is a Marriott Courtyard on Yonge north of Carlton/College, but its rates often seem to be almost as high as the regular Marriotts. But it's worth checking the price.

I think that o hotel in Toronto would be a tab inconvenient for someone visiting Tofino.
