HELP: Winnipeg to Grand Forks,ND
 

Hello, Im coming in from Chicago at the end of September and trying to do a multi city one way trip on my goal of seeing all 50 US states and multi Canadian cities...Usually I just get a rental car and pickup in one city and drop it off at airport at my departing city..However, Im sure as many of you know, the rental car cost to pickup in Canada and drop off in the US is super expensive...About 1000.00 US dollars...My plan is to spend 2 days in Winnipeg then go down to North Dakota and then into Minneapolis and fly home from there....It looks like I can pickup a rental car in Grand Forks,ND after my 2 days for way,way cheaper(Around 700-800.00 cheaper)...The issue now is getting from Winnipeg to Grand Forks,ND...I have looked at transportation options and it looks like buses used to do this route and no longer do it..I can't find anything on Greyhound or any other bus lines that would take me there...Does anyone know any possible way for me and 1-2 friends to get to Grand Forks? Any type of ride share,shuttle bus or anyone who could get us there for a reasonable cost? Flight and everything else is no issue...Just someway to get from Winnipeg to Grand Forks to pickup the car seems to be the only hurdle..Any help or input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Unfortunately that day wont work as I will be out there early in the week and have to be in Minneapolis by then, But Thanks for checking!

It is surprising that the options are so limited. According to this site you could take a taxi for about $260 American. With three of you that might work. Good luck.
