Has anyone stayed at the Quality Hotel Downtown?

Hello, everyone. I am planning on staying in Vancouver from Dec 31 to Jan 2 at the Quality Hotel Downtown on Howe Street. Has anyone stayed there, and if so, did you have a good experience? Or did you have a bad experience?

Your opinion on this hotel would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't stayed there, but I know it's location - which is just next to the onramp of the Granville Street Bridge.
The nice thing about it is that it's close to the beach, Granville Island, the seawall. It's a bit further away from Robson Street and Stanley Park, but nothing a 10-20 minute walk couldn't fix.

I know the Hotel, unexceptional is the key word.
Lots of traffic noise duing the day but the 'hood is safe enough.
As Robyn says close to everything you could do worse...

If you're looking for good value, the Quality Inn is it. We stayed there last April...2 adults, queen room for $99, full breakfast included. The location was excellent for us, and the room was comfortable. Seems as if this hotel may have been renovated recently? Enjoy!

Hello, everyone. Thanks for replying and giving some useful input. I think I will definitely stay at the Quality Inn. I know it may not be four stars but all I am looking for is a nice clean room at a good price and a good location.

I didn't know it was being renovated but it sounds good to me.

Thanks again.
