Has anyone stayed at the Novotel in Montreal?

Thank you.

Yes Ben, two years ago I stayed in Novotel - downtown Montreal. What IS your question?

Ben,
I have stayed at the Novotel in Montreal. The hotel is basically your standard 3 star, clean, moderate, nothing fancy, usually available at a decent rate, and it is in a good location. It's close to shopping on St. Catherine, the Molson Centre, near Crescent St, and the area is well populated at night.
I have stayed here many times, it is the only downtown hotel I use in Montreal. It is good location and nice hotel. Good breakfast service. Easy walk to all the action on Rue Crescent. Nice and close to Hurley's Irish Pub, the best pub in Montreal. Go for it

The Novotel is a fine place to stay in a terrific location. The breakfast buffet each morning is wonderful. If you did a priceline.com search for a 3 star hotel in downtown, many times the Novotel is what you get. The others in this category are the Windham, Renassaince du Parc. I have gotten these hotels when I have made bids on 3 star places and sometimes get the Novotel.
