Hi Todd - haven't stayed there myself but I brought a posting to the top which is very complimentary (called "Lodging in Montreal")

Hi Todd, Just was looking at all the letters here, and if you look down to the No. 48 question about Montreal you'll find some comments about the Intercontinental. I'll be staying there for a few days starting Sat., and can let you know more if you like.

I am staying there next weekend and will be happy to report back to you. I have stayed at Intercontinentals in other cities and they have excellent service and accomendations. If you go join the six-continents club to receive all those benifits.

Have stayed at the Inter-Continental several times and highly recommend it. Quiet, nicely furnished, and well-appointed rooms. Gorgeous green marble and pewter baths. Very low-key lobby life (in fact, it barely has a lobby). Small, understated bar and restaurant.
