I havn't stayed there but have out of town friends who have. It's location is great for BC Place Stadium and GM Place as well as for Yaletown, False Creek and the BC Pavillion. It's on the SE edge of downtown but still not a hard walk to the good shopping areas and Gastown.

The service & cleanliness is up to three star standards and I understand the complimentary breakfasts are great - much more than 'continental'.

The fitness faciolity is good and the rooms are large - especially the suites which include kitchenettes and I believe even the regular rooms have fridges & microwaves but check on that.

You didn't ask to compare it to anyplace else so I would have to say that unless you're looking for a more central downtown location or a 4 or 5 star facility the Hampton Inn will not dissappoint you.

Just returned from 3 nights in the Hampton Inn last week. On a 15 day trip throught Wash. Ore. Victoria, and Vancouver this our favorite place to stay. Very clean, helpful people, and good location. Since buses are on strike you can walk behind B.C. Stadium that faces Hampton Inn and catch the Greyline trolley or ride the skytrain nearby for free. The Hampton's shuttle took us to a restaurant one night and also to catch Amtrack back to Seattle with no charge. You can't go wrong.
