halifax and peggy's cove
 
Does anyone have info re: transportation in and around Halifax? Is it convenient and reasonable to take a taxi to Peggy's Cove from Halifax?

A 3 hour roundtrip tour Halifax to Peggy's Cove is about $135.00 Canadian.

Take the water tour from downtown Halifax - probably a bit cheaper depending on how many in your group. Or ask a local taxi company how much they will charge to take you there and back - flat rate.

It would be more sensible to rent a car, drive to Peggy's Cove and then down to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg.
