Yes.

And assuming your second question is ""what are they?" ....

Exensive: Hemispheres, in the Metropolitan Hotel directly across the street, is one of the best restaurants in Toronto. Asian touches to the cusine. Toronto Life's restaurant guide suggests $185 got two, total, including a bottle of wine.

Medium expensive: Oro, one block est, two blocks north. Le Bifteque,, in the Sheraton Center hotel, just across City Hall square, immediately south fo the hotel.

Also the other dining rooms in the Sheraton Center.

Expensive: Tundra and Ruth's Chris Steak House, both in the Hilton, one block south-west of the sheraton.

Medium, causaul. city Grill and Mr. Greenjean's, both in the Eaton Center, sort of one block east (you'llunderstand as you walk) of the hotel.

Several other restaurants on Elm Street, beside Oro. Bankok Gardens is excellent Thai food. Il fornello is medium-prieced Italian.

The Senator, one block east of the Eaton Center, on Victoria Street. Five minutes walk from the hotel.

Cheapest: Swiss Chalet for very causal chicken, on Yonge, a couple of blocks north of Bay. ($10 each, without booze.)

For a great lunch: Agora, in the Art Gallery of Ontario, several blocks west, on Dundas Street. Five minutes walk.

Further to the above:

The Chinese restaurant in the basement of the Colony. Adn the semi-dumpy looking place (Hong shing, I believe) at the corner of Center Street (one block west of the hotel) and Dundas. My wife reports it is excellent, if not fancy, for lunch.
