Girls Weekend Away
What hotel would you recommend for a ladies weekend away - somewhere central to restaurants, bars etc?
Thanks! |
Years ago, I thought that BC wowmn were our equivilent of California Girls, not in the blonde sense but in the "they are distinct" sense.
Looking back, I realize I was thinking more of Vancouver women, not Campbell River women. Anyway, to me,. -- very far from being a BC woman, please note -- The Westin BAyshore is it. The outdoors to one side, shopping and entertainment to one side, scenery to one side, shopping to one side... easy to get to Granville Island, easy to go for a run, a civilized bar, lots of public space tpet out into... I'll wait with interet to see what thos actually qualified to respond will have to say. BAK |
It might help if you provided which city you're interested in...
|
I figured out it was Vancouver because there are the words "Tagged British Columbia" at the top, but maybe they want to go to Kelowna.
Age and interests and budget would have been helpful, of course. BAK |
Yes, we really need the city confirmed, and also a bit about ages, budget, the type of bars, etc.
The Opus in Yaletown might be a great spot, or maybe not, depending on your preferences. Lots happening in the Yaletown area - lots of choice for restaurants etc and boutiques. Westin Bayshore is OK, good restaurants in that area (Lift, Cardero's) and close to shopping on Robson with nice views of Stanley Park. More info on your group please! |
As a gal in her late 20s living in downtown Vancouver, if you're seeking bars and restaurants, stay in Yaletown. I'd recommend the Opus Hotel or the Westin Grand.
The Westin Bayshore is located on a beautiful setting, but you'll be cabbing to get to your restaurants and bars. |
