Free WiFi hotspots in Vancouver?

Does Stanley Park or any other parks have free (and fast) WiFi available? I already found listings of cafes and food places - there must be some parks w/free access. Thanks.

A Google search for FREE + WI FI + VANCOUVER brought up a link to this website that lists free wifi spots, which appear to be located principally in public libraries:

Sounds to me like you're somewhat unclear on the idea of what Parks are for.b-(

Many large US cities have already made free WiFi access available to city parks. I read somewhere that the Vancouver city government was looking into getting WiFi access for it's parks. Sounds to me you like you don't get out much.

Sounds to me like no Park any self respecting nature lover would be caught dead in.
The cold comfort of the Internet is a poor subsitute for the sublime grandeur of Vancouver City Parks-as you will soon see.

LOL!!
Sounds to me like you've made your mind up before even visiting here.
Don't worry though you'll feel much calmer soon.....:p

I love that they are starting to integrate wi-fi into parks. At least you can sit on your ass and surf in the park now. Better than being inside. Its great!
