Thank you for the compliment, irecommend. I too have learned a lot from the travel discussion forums. I appreciate this medium (I mean the Internet) that enables us to brain storm and collaborate online.

As Sam Rayburn, Speaker of the House of Representatives years ago once said at a Democratic Convention:

"All in favor say AYE. The chair hears no NOs!!"

I am not the chair, but for anyone who might consider voting NO, let me suggest that people have been placed in the looney bin for lesser offenses.

Aye :)

Judy helped me plan our Rockies & Vancouver trip a year ago. Her generosity with her time is incredible, thanks Judy!

I agree with the sentiments. Judy is tireless with her help.

Bob.
Around these parts, a looney bin is sort of an 'anything for a dollar' type of thing

bob_brown Sep 17th, 2006 08:52 AM

Hmm. South of the 49th parallel, I think the meaning of looney bin for people in my approximate age range is the equivalent of the insane asylum or nut house.

I think nut house has a less formal, institutionalized meaning.

Most American football stadiums on Saturday afternoon qualify as outdoor nut houses. People froth at the mouth, moan, scream, wail, sing, fall prostrate, get rigid, shout obscenities, beat on various objects including each other, throw things, spend money foolishly, and exhibit other behaviors normally associated with severe mental abberation.
