what would be the average price of a flat in downtown toronto or montreal?

richarddreer Jul 6th, 2011 11:53 AM

try a site like Roomorama. I found a really nice place in toronto for C$100/night. Hope that helps!

Are you looking to rent for a longer time? I noticed that you also posted about buying a house.

Again check www.realtor.ca for downtown Toronto rentals. The MLS code that you want for Dwontown Toronto is C01. C08 also shows downtown listings.

Here they are not called "flats" but condos or apartments.

When we use he word "flat" we are usually talking about a housing unit with a subdivided big house. People rent flats.

When we say apartment we are usually talking about a housing unit with a building originally designed with multiple housing units in it, but we also use "apartment" to describe flats.

When we talk about condos or condominiums, we are talking either about housing units owned by the resident withing a building with multiple condos, and thus multiple owners.

We often call the entire building a condo, too, which is somewhat confusing.

Many individual condo units are rented toother people by their owners, so you'll see "rental condos" available.

A one room flat with a tiny kitchen and privatge bathroom with shower but no tub in an old house in the Annex Area of Toronto, near Bloor Street and Spadina, is about $800.

No parking included.

A two bedroom spacious rental condo unit in a high rise modern building with swimming pool and parking indoors is perhaps $3000 a month.

Rents vary by location of the building and how nice the building is.

Hi Franko
Fredericton is the capital city of the province of New Brunswick...we are in the "Maritime Provinces" on the Atlantic Coast...Fredericton is small, about 50,000 people, it's a beautiful city. We have 2 universities, and there are lots of different cultures here, mostly around the University but No...No specific groups of people, no one lives in a certain neighborhood because of thier culture. Altantic Canada is heavily influenced by Irish and Scottish Heritage, more so then anything else. It is rated in the top 10 cities in Canada to live. Here's a link http://www.fredericton.ca/
