Fine hotels/inns outside of Montreal?

Anyone have any ideas for hotels that might offer activities (golf/fishing)and fine dining outside of Montreal? I looked at Relais et Chateaux and the one that I was thinking of (Hadley) burned down this past winter!I'd prefer something that was more on its own that going to Mt. Tremblant village.

Thanks!

Try the Fairmont Chateau Montebello at Montebello, or Gray Rocks at Tremblant.

Wow--I had no idea about Auberge Hatley! What a shame.

Have you looked at Manoir Hovey also in North Hatley? It actually had better reviews than Auberge Hatley and has more on site activities

The Ripplecove Inn is lovely and has a wonderful dining room, nice bar.
I'm sure Hovey and Ripplecove are picking up the business left by Hatley's fire.
Golf would be available in the area but not part of those 2 hotels.

Thanks for the suggestions; those places are much more what I had had in mind! I will check on availability. My hope is to be able to speak a bit of French while there....

Thanks again!
