Jen, who's to say if you'll be asked.<BR><BR>Chances are you won't be asked going INTO Canada, but you might. Chances are you'll be asked heading back into the USA.<BR><BR>What's required of you is proof of *citizenship*. A driver's license isn't proof of citizenship... it's just photo ID. It doesn't prove you're an American citizen. It just proves that you can legally drive there.<BR><BR>A birth certificate is proof of citizenship, but since birth certificates don't have any photo ID, the driver's license kind of goes hand in hand. The birth certificate proves your citizenship, and your driver's license proves that the name on the birth certificate is *you*. ;) <BR><BR>If you have a passport, that's valid proof of citizenship w/photo ID too.<BR><BR>I don't know if you'll be hassled are not. It depends on whether you'll be asked for it. If you ARE asked for proof of citizenship, they have the right to refuse entry into Canada or into the USA.
