embassy suites vs. marriott for fallsview hotel?
 

I am having trouble deciding between embassy and marriott for 2 nights on the falls.

they are relatively the same price for the same amenities, etc.

does one have a better view over the other? I've seen embassy recommended a lot on the boards but had a friend stay at the marriott and loved it.

also any idea on how much parking is at embassy, I can't seem to find any info on their website. Marriott charges $20/daily it seems

we are leaning towards the embassy because we think we would like the restaurant there better over the one at the marriott.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites and loved it. We were on the 32 floor and had a great look over the falls. Can't comment on the Marriott but you should look at a map and see where they are relative to each other. The Embassy is right on top of the incline railroad which was very convenient. We didn't eat at the restaurant other than the included full breakfast. Prices for food are ridiculous all over. We also stayed two nights. We ate once in Niagara on the Lake and once at a Greek Diner south Niagara. Make sure you do the Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds.

Forgot to tell you parking is $20. The Falls View Casino is right next door and I think that is $5, but for convenience, it was worth the $20

We've stayed at the Embassey twice and will stay there again. It it right next door to the Marriott so with a top floor room your view of the Falls will be the same. I believe parking was $18.00. I think a plus for us is the two rooms and made to order comlimentary breakfast that Embassey offers.

Don't know where that extra 'e' came from. Embassy
