Eating between Montreal and Toronto

I will be driving from Montreal to Toronto via 401. Would appreciate suggestions for a lunch about half way.

I assume that you rre looking for more than the usual fast food or chain restaurants, which can be found along 401 and at major interchanges. I would recommend Chez Piggy in downtown Kingston.

The Issac Brock in Brockville. My absolute favorite. A nice British style pub. Excellent fish and chips. In Kingston, there is a nice Jewish delicatesen, called Dunn's. I believe it is on Princess Street; not sure though.

Thank you both for these suggestions.

Try Chez Piggy in downtown Kingston as suggested. Don't be put off by the name, it has a nice ambience from old and is well known and well respected. Kingston is a nice place to spend a few hours too.

Brockville is not that far out of Montreal. Kingston is a little further than half way.
