Driving from Wolfville to Baddeck
 

Interested in suggestions for town / place to stay overnight along the way. We don't want to go too far out of way but also don't need to drive straight through.

Pictou is a historic town and is approximately half way between Wolfville and Baddeck. Pictou is where the Scottish settlers arrived in 1763 (?) on the ship Hector. There are many B & B's in Pictou but have not stayed at any of them. The Pictou Lodge is popular place. http://www.townofpictou.ca/
