Does anyone have info on the Toronto Lion Dance Festival?

I heard this festival would be on while I'm in Toronto and I've been searching the web but I've only come up with the dates. Does anyone know where it takes place and the daily schedules?

Have you tried checking out the website www.toronto.com? They have all the information you would need to know about the goings'on around Toronto.

Thanks for the suggestion Simba. I searched the site and others and still have only found out that it's June 6-9, 2002. No info on times or location.

www.nowtoronto.com is the web site of Now Magazine, a free tabloid that lists everything that is going on, if the organizaers know enough to thell the paper.

And it has nothing today.

there's some sort of dance event going on, because tv last night showed a 91 year old tap dancer, and I saw dozens of kid-dancers in City Hall Square yesterday. But I did not pay attention to the event.

Is the Lion Dance thing Chinese?

www.thestar.com , the site for Toronto's biggest regular newspaper paper, has nothing, either.

BAK

Thanks for checking Brian.

The Lion Dance is a Chinese festival. I saw one in Honolulu on Chinese New Year a couple of years ago and it was great.

I'll check those websites next weekend and see if they have anything then. Otherwise, I'll just have to look into it when I get there.
