would you recommend buying a discovery park pass off ebay,
if the price was right?

Technically they are non-transferable. Usually the parks staff write the license plate number on the pass.

Why take a chance? The pass is a pretty good deal at full price, considering how wonderful our national parks are. Buy at the beginning of the month and you will get 13 months of use out of it. E.g., purchase at the beginning of July, and it will be valid until the end of July the following year.

But we will only be in Canada for 2 weeks for all of next year.

define "good deal" at ebay. How about expiry date? How about fakes?

They show the front and back, and the back isn't signed.
The front shows the month we will be there, but its good
until the last day of that month.
