Different Vancouver Hotel

We are planning a September 4 nite Vancouver stay and would like to try a different hotel. Have stayed in the past at the Fairmont Waterfront, Wedgewood, Pan Pacific and Mariott Pinacle. Does anyone have a thought on the 4 Seasons, the Delta Suites or the Metropolitan? Don't need a water view but would like a nice view of perhaps the Park or mountains.

Thanks!!

Sorry, we haven't stayed at any you mention but we enjoyed the Hotel du Soleil. Nice suites (bedroom & livingroom), nicely decorated, good service and a very convenient location. No view of the park or the mountains, though.

I've been hearing that the Four Seasons needs a renovation but while I've been told that one is in the works, it's probably going to be done closer to the Olympics.

I have stayed at the Metropolitan and liked it but prefer the Sutton Place--I just got back from a weekend there. The rooms are mostly city views however--although from some of the higher floors facing west or north, you might get a peak at English Bay, the park or the mountains.

The Sandman Suites on Davie has the best view from any hotel I've been in. While not in the same league as the Pan Pacific, their penthouse suites are as hip as any room in the Opus, except you'd have double balconies overlooking English Bay and the mountains.
