Daytime Attire in Vancouver, Canada

What is the proper attire that is acceptable for daytime sightseeing in Vancouver, Canada? Temperatures (should be???) low 70's during the day.

We are disembarking Princess Cruise, never have been in Vancouver and would like to dress properly. Should woman wear Capris or will nice shorts mid-leg be acceptable? What about men? We want to dress properly. Thanks in advance for any input.

Nobody cares what you wear. Seriously. But bring an umbrella.

Just be comfortable - anything goes! Depends on when you are here as far as the temperature goes so a light jacket would be appropriate. And of course as semiramis says an umbrella is a good idea.

Thank you for your reply. An umbrella is on our list.
