Was in Whistler in late September and walked by the Crystal Lodge. It is located in the central village area, surrounded by shops and restaurants, a short walk to the ski lifts, and close by a supermarket. Can't comment on the accomodations, but if you book a room you might want to request one on the quiet side, as I imagine rooms overlooking the central village walkways could be noisy at night during peak season.

i also have not stayed there, but i can tell you the location is the best. spaghetti factory and shops right below, keg 2 minute walk, starbucks, whistler mountain. you never mentioned when you are going but if in peak season (winter) and you have a good deal (anything below 200.00 cdn is considered good) go for it. i just stayed at the westbrook )which is right opposite the crystal) last sat and we paid 89.00 for 1 night. separate bedroom , fully equiped kitchen with a dining area with kitchen nook seating, gas fireplace, and a great view of the village stroll and the mountains. only drawback was it was very noisy at night when bars closed and everyone spills out onto the street and we were on the 7th floor! well good luck; let me know if i can help you with anything else. i go to whistler quite often, just love it there, but im more of a summer, fall person, than a ski bum!<BR>

Any recommendations for a three bedroom condo for a family of six in August in Whistler? Not noisy but in the village. Thanks.

I've stayed at the Crystal Lodge &amp; it's just okay. The door to our room didn't even lock &amp; the furnishings are modest. I'm sure you can do much better.
